Studio songbird Christopher “Frank” Ocean has been dropping heat low-key on his Beats 1 radio show, blonded RADIO, available on Apple Music. Since the release of his chart topping sophomore album, the New Orleans native has been releasing single after single on his station, with the latest dropping on Monday.

Following years of silence since his debut album Channel Orange, which earned him his first Grammy for the single “Thinkin Bout You”, Ocean has been hard at work, releasing his 2016 studio album, Blonde, which was met with critical acclaim. After dropping the album in August, many fans expected Ocean to take another few years off, but that hasn't been the case.

After his Beats 1 radio station’s premiere, Ocean surprised fans by dropping two versions of his new song “Chanel” on the second episode, with one featuring a verse from A$AP Rocky. Following the vibey, emotional song’s release, Ocean shared “Biking” on the third episode of blonded RADIO, another kick-back type song, that features an intro from Jay-Z, along with verses from Ocean, Hov and Tyler, the Creator. In the fourth episode, which aired late Saturday night going into Sunday morning (April 23rd), Frank gave fans another double dosage, releasing two versions of another new song, “Lens”. Heavily auto-tuned on both, one version features vocals from popular Houston artist, Travis Scott. Then on the very next day (Monday), he surprised fans by dropping “Slide on Me” in the the early hours of the day, before most people were even awake. The song, which was on his visual album Endless, features a previously unreleased verse from Young Thug.

As Franky O fans, we shouldn't ask why, but when. When will we get more? Frank appears to be unloading his clip at a random pace, so trying to pinpoint when the next single will drop, or if it will drop, isn't worth losing sleep over; especially for a guy who took three years to release his second album. Let's enjoy what the man gives us and hope he doesn't release his third album in 2019.
