Summing up 2273 Records is a difficult task; the new record label continues to prove their excellence with their great strides towards success. Started by a group of USC students, Christian Felner (Felly), Hayden Day (Gyyps), and Jake Standley (Photographer), the label shows no signs of slowing. In addition to producing countless hits, they’ve been making killer videos to go along in locations like Jamaica and Iceland. And if you like to rep your artists, they’ve come up with an incredibly unique line of clothing. 2273 records continuously proves that age is but a number, and that hard work pays off, selling out venues on countrywide tours on top of their USC classes.

Felly’s rise to fame began as a highschooler making beats in his hometown in Connecticut. You’ll be overwhelmed by happiness and excitement as he reminds us of the beauties in life with his smooth, therapeutic raps. Frequently accompanied by Gyyps’ drumming, raps, or both, when the two combine forces their sound is unforgettable. The magic of their collaboration shines on a number of tracks, including “Desert Eagle,” “Gorilla,” and one of their most recent, “Ali.”

Meeting the members of 2273 Records before their Des Moines show was a transcendent experience; the charismatic aura that surrounded them was unmatched. Take a listen for yourself and be sure to keep up with this exceptionally talented record label and the exciting future that lies ahead of them.
