Cozy Tapes Vol. 2 is On the Way

Since the death of A$AP Yams, A$AP Mob has not slowed down. With huge moves branching off of the release of Cozy Tapes Vol. 1: Friends back in late October of 2016, or even the coveted drop of the Air Force One x Vlone collaboration stemming from fashion designer and A$AP Mob member, A$AP Bari. The indisputable consistency in the news for the group has severely impacted the recent moves made by the Mob and by A$AP Rocky himself.

With a solo album on the way from Rocky, the press has been surrounding both his personal life along with keeping a close eye on all social media moves he makes. Just from following his Instagram, a lot his been discovered about the soon to be released album, including producers and features alike, creating an expectation of one of Rocky’s best albums yet. However, like any good leader, Rocky has put the team first, and from inferences made following all recent events, it seems evident that Cozy Tapes Vol. 2 will be released before the forthcoming solo album. On July 3rd, an Instagram video surfaced previewing a new song from the upcoming album.

Little is known about the untitled song, however the "Fashion Killa" refferences Prada and Vans. Following this trend just a couple days later, Rocky and Ferg performed an unreleased song together, soon to be featured on the sequel to Cozy Tapes Vol. 1.

As the Mob continues to tease the public and release singles, it is apparent that the excitement among the rap community will grow. As a fellow impatient rap junkie, waiting for this album gets harder and harder every day. But with the few bones the Mob has thrown us, and the expectations they have fulfilled in the past, I believe it will be worth the wait.
