As an 18-year-old who has always felt like an outsider and wants to stand out in the world, Jaden Smith relates to many young adults and millennial ambitions. By wearing a dress to his high school prom, Smith started a movement of gender-neutral clothing, which he solidified in his designer label, MSFTSrep. In a 2016 interview with Variety magazine, Smith explains that his clothing line is for “the girl that wants to be a tomboy or the boy that wants to wear a skirt”. His goal is to empower the youth and support global organizations, such as JUST Water and the Non-Violent Direct Action Program (NVDAP), through the clothing designs.

Smith’s label is up-and-coming in the fashion world. Other than his celeb family, many high profile individuals’ rep his style, such as Kylie Jenner, Justin Bieber, and Pia Mia. The Louis Vuitton Spring and Summer 2016 collections gave publicity to MSFTSrep, making it the face of the company for the current year.
